EMBERLANCE

Intent​

UK government R&D contract supporting our Ukrainian partner Airlogix to develop a new capability (Dark Horizon, DH). If EMBERLANCE results in a successful operational capability, UK MOD may place an order for DH to gift to Ukraine. Allied would produce units in the UK through the Joint Venture with Airlogix.

Scope​

In scope:

  • R&D work associated with EMBERLANCE contract
  • Support for Airlogix DH development and testing
  • JV establishment for scale-up
  • Export licence preparation (Ukrainian government)

Out of scope:

  • Production of other platforms (e.g. Anubis) unless EMBERLANCE path fails

Success Criteria​

  • Airlogix completes DH development and testing
  • JV established
  • Ukrainian export licence obtained
  • UK MOD order for DH (or alternative route to production)
